PRE-SCHOOL & CHILDREN’S DEPARTMENTS
Kids are an important part of Glyndale and we work hard to create a fun and exciting environment where they’ll love going to church. Glyndale offers a place for kids to learn about God in a fun environment. We have exciting games, music, and teaching that is created specifically with kids in mind. We want to help you, as the parent, grow spiritually and allow you to fellowship with other believers without worry or interruption. We provide a clean and safe environment.

YOUTH DEPARTMENT (6th – 12th GRADE)
We have breakfast every Sunday… from a hot cooked breakfast, to McDonalds, or a couple dozen of Winn Dixie doughnuts. The food is a reward for waking up early on the weekend when your body says stay in bed.
Youth go to school five days a week and don’t need one more day of school on Sunday. So we don’t focus on getting through the prescribed lesson plan… we focus on the individuals. No workbooks and no worksheets, well maybe sometimes. We allow the “curriculum” to grow organically from current issues and themes that are important to our particular students. We tie biblical study to newspaper articles, current movies, tv shows, stories or problems our teens face in their daily lives.
Our teachers guide the discussion, but we want our teenagers to drive the discussion. No more sitting around tables or in rows of chairs facing the teacher. Our youth room is a comfortable space where teenagers feel free to share and talk. Guardians are welcome to check out our class along with their teens.
ADULT 1 & 2 DEPARTMENT – Director: Jeannie Cozine
Ambassadors of Christ: Lesley & Fonda Dixon
Ambassadors of Christ is for our younger adults with a mixture of college and career class members. This class also helps high school students with the transistion that comes “after graduation”. Ambassadors for Christ is working in co-operation with Baptist Campus Ministries to reach out to young adults at Coastal Georgia College.
Chosen Ones: Will Lane & Mark Cotter
This class is a mixture of young adult singles and couples.
Armed & Dangerous: Gary Parmenter
This class is a wonderfully diverse group of students. In the words of Jesus we’ll take whosoever will. While there is a diversity of gender and a wide range of ages in this class for the most part the students are middle aged adult couples.
Wise Guys: Von Drew
The “Wise Guys” is a group of men that enjoy Bible study. We do our best to apply it’s truth to our lives.
MasterWorks: Jim Barton & Patti Allen
This class is open to all ages and genders and students are provided with a daily devotion to prepare us all for class discussion on Sundays. The class is not lecture style, but discussion oriented. Students are encouraged to come and go as they please if there is a particularly topic that appeals to them for a short time.
